The Bill was passed by the House last night and will now go to the Senate. The Bill was supported by the Labor Party. Speakers included three ALP members, one Independent and twenty one LNP members. Read the Hansard report here
An amendment by Andrew Wilkie to include under age 55 DFRB/DFRDB superannuates was defeated.
Hopefully, the Senate with ALP support will pass the Bill in the current sittings which end tomorrow.
