PM agrees to meet ADSO

7 Mar 2013

Prime Minister Gillard agrees to meet with ADSO in Canberra.

Arising from todays ADSO “Fair Go!” Rally at the Novotel Rooty Hill, our leader Bob Ihlein and other ralliers were invited into the Hotel to meet with the PM. In a twenty minute amicable meeting Bob handed the PM our flyer and discussed our concerns. The PM agreed to meet with ADSO Executives in Canberra with Mike Kelly present. After three formal previous requests for meetings with her, todays decision is welcome. Thank you Prime Minister

Congratulations to Bob Ihlein, our NSW Action Team Leader, and his ralliers who accepted the request to “The Adso”. From the lessons learnt here you have shaped the model for all our Action Teams. Thanks also to Peter Thornton and Les Bienkiewicz who drove from Canberra to participate in Tuesdays rally and did so much work with the media .  A special thanks to the media and especially the Daily Telegraphs Simon Black, radio stations 2 GB and 2 UE for their coverage and TV stations interest: you have lit the fuze for further exposure of our issues to the public.
