THE “DEBT & DEFICIT” CONUNDRUM AND THE IMMINENT THREAT OF GOVERNMENT AUSTERITY – A MILITARY VETERAN’S PERSPECTIVE
By Peter Thornton – February 2015

(This article is dedicated to the late Mr. Tim McCombe OAM . Tim was the former National President of the Vietnam Veterans’ Federation and a staunch defender of Veterans’ rights. He will be sadly missed.)

including that of our most disabled Veterans and their families.

It will reveal a truth about the Government’s Budget deficit numbers from a key insider. It will reveal the true nature of Commonwealth debt from Government agencies themselves, and it will finally elicit a viable solution (once again) to the ongoing inadequacy of Veterans’ compensation and other associated payments.
