This table was published in The Australian last week. Further proof of the erosion in our entitlements:
Avg weekly wage in 1984 was $333.40 and in 2011 $1352.10 produces a factor of 4.055 which, if applied to my weekly retirement payment of $189.31 in
1982 would mean I should be getting $767.65 not the $558.50 I get.
Not that we needed to be told eh?
